Once again this year, Tiesse Robot will be taking part in MecSpe, the reference trade-fair for the manufacturing industry. At Parma Fairground, among its new products for 2017, the company will be exhibiting its latest innovation in the welding sector - the robot model BA06L, which completes the evolution of hollow-wrist robots belonging to the “BA” Kawasaki series and goes to join its “little” brother, the BA06N. The major features of this new model are the “long arm”, with a capacity of 6 kg and a work area of over 2 metres; the universal compact controller “E01”, in safety category PLD4, providing a 20/30% energy saving compared to previous controllers; the programming terminal featuring a 6+ inch colour touch-screen, compact and lightweight. The controller can manage block teaching programming based on Kawasaki AS language, also exploiting the K-Ladder functions for contact logic, to be addressed up to 4096 I/O. This same controller accepts all the fieldbus networks required by the markets and may also be equipped with the Cubic S safety CPU for the interaction of one of more operators in confined environments. BA06L is currently among the outright best-performing products as regards spot and arc welding.
Tiesse introduces at MEC-SPE 2017 a further news regarding medium-size handling sector. The new robot type CX, with payload from 110 to 210 kg, integrates the well-known Kawasaki “ZX” robot range. Its main feature is a thinner design compared to other models of the same range, so as to be used in smaller spaces, specifically in the sectors of handling, spot welding, machine tool tending and foundry operations. Even CX may be connected to new E02 compact universal controller, designed for power saving purposes and with 4PL safety level, as well as to dialogue with all the advanced sensors, including 2D and 3D vision systems, which are part of the technological proposal of Kawasaki Robotics and Tiesse Robot. www.mecspe.com
